Mannkal Anniversary 30, A Celebration
Ron Manners AO

Paperback, 122 pages, November 2026 release

In 1996, a mining prospector with a stubborn belief in free minds and free markets set out to do something almost nobody else in Western Australia was doing: build a Think Tank from scratch, with nothing but conviction and a network of remarkable friends. Thirty years later, Mannkal Economic Education Foundation has sent 3,000 scholars into boardrooms, universities, and newsrooms across the world.
This book is an overview by Ron Manners and friends of how it happened, and how you can do the same. Part memoir and part manifesto, it charts Mannkal’s three decades of conferences, scholarships, and hard-won lessons in philanthropy, policy, and the stubborn art of changing minds. Along the way, dozens of Mannkal alumni add their own voices, describing how a scholarship, a seminar, or a single conversation reshaped the course of their lives.

As an historical account that is unapologetically optimistic about Australia’s future, this book shows how a small idea can become something that changes the world of many.

The more books you order, any combination, the lower the freight per book.
