On the 21st of September 2021, Mannkal hosted a launch of Liberalism and the Free Society in 2021 at which Brad Lips addressed the room via Zoom. Below is an excerpt of his remarks:
Brad Lips is the chief executive officer of Atlas Network, a non-profit organisation committed to securing greater freedom and opportunity for all people. A graduate of Princeton University and the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, Brad has been published in The Wall Street Journal and Cato Journal, among other publications. He has spoken on five continents on the challenges and opportunities facing liberal democracies, as well as human rights priorities in unfree countries. His published work is informed by two decades of collaboration with hundreds of independent civil society organisations in more than 100 countries.
