If we had a say,
and could be our favourite age,
what would be our choice?
Not really too old,
nor really too young,
A number that is just right.
So, what’s the best age?
Availability is a factor,
Need a stage to be an actor.
Options closing in on us,
Let us settle for the age at hand,
And grab it while we can.
And so my answer is….
So lucky to be alive,
I always wanted to be 85!
